Crafting with Grandmother
GETTING TO KNOW ME
This is a new experience for me. Setting up a blog is no easy task, I thought I had done every type of typewritten page. Yes, I learned on a typewriter. Each year I am beginning to feel more like I lived in the good ole days.
I learn to sew when I was only five. Mother taught me that if you were to survive in life, you needed to know basis skills. Well it stuck, I love to do any craft. I go through times when I love doing one particular thing more than another.
I am a genealogist. I have been doing my family albums using the old fashion sissors and printing out things on the computer. I gave myself a new Cricut Expression for my birthday this year. I want to update all of my displays I use at my Genealogy Workshops and finally get my research in albums that I can pass on to my children and grandchildren.
Guess the sewing machines and my other loves will be put away for a while, so I can learn to use my new cricut. I will be sharing my genealogy and my scrapbooks on my new blog.
